An immersion in blue — acrylic and raw pigment layered on wood until the colour reaches real depth.
About this artwork
Shade upon shade of blue is built up through texture and shadow, while a crisp white border frames the field and makes it glow. Some read it as the moon, others as sky or sea; the painting leaves the final interpretation to you.
